This two-day conference brought together leading experts from the Paris region and abroad to discuss the dynamics and neural coding in hippocampal and cortical circuits.
Over 250 participants attended over two days, representing 11 countries, 28 cities and 55 institutes across Europe. The program featured 14 invited speakers, complemented by 8 young investigator short talks selected through an open call, and 32 posters.
The program focused on how these circuits operate across behavioral states and how experimental and theoretical approaches contribute to our understanding of brain function.
The meeting featured invited talks by experts in the field, oral presentations by early-career researchers, and poster sessions where students and postdocs presented their work. These sessions provided opportunities for in-depth discussions and exchanges among participants.
This conference provided a platform for scientific exchange and collaboration, integrating structural, physiological, and theoretical perspectives on hippocampal–cortical interactions.
Topics
Neural dynamics in hippocampal and cortical circuits
Neural coding mechanisms during behavior
Oscillations and network interactions across behavioral states
